2024 Mardi Gras season is approaching and we have the 411 on all of the exciting parades happening downtown in Baton Rouge! When: Sunday, January 28th, 2024, at 2:00 pm
Where: Downtown Baton Rouge on North Blvd.
What: 25th Annual CAAWS Mystic Krewe of Mutts Parade. “The Mystic Krewe of Mutts is our largest annual fundraiser that will take place on Sunday, January 28, 2024, in downtown Baton Rouge. All proceeds will fund our spay/neuter programs.”
When: Friday, February 2nd, 2024, at 7:00 pm
Where: Downtown Baton Rouge
What: “Join the excited revelers as they line the parade route while joining in the festivities and
experiencing Baton Rouge Mardi Gras… Artemis style!! Revelers will be treated with themed throws, including the Krewe of Artemis’ signature High Heeled Shoe, along with footballs, light up tambourines, stuffed animals, float beads and lighted throws.”
When: Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Where: Begins at River Road and Government Street
What: “Whether rain or shine, Krewe Mystique always brings it with beautiful floats, marching bands, and a whole lot of throws!”

Where: St. Philip Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802
What: “The Krewe of Orion’s 25th annual Mardi Gras parade. Parade goers will be treated to a line of exciting, colorfully-lighted, and tractor-pulled floats. On the floats, masked and costumed riders will throw plenty of themed parade medallions, Krewe of Orion signature footballs, lighted throws, and beads.”

What: “The Krewe of Southdowns is Baton Rouge’s first, and most unique, family-friendly night Mardi Gras Parade.”
When: Sunday, February 10th, 2024 at 12:00 pm
Where: Downtown Baton Rouge
What: “The organization (Mystic Krewe for the Preservation of Lagniappe in Louisiana dba SPLL) organizes and produces the Spanish Town Mardi Gras Ball, Parade and Golf Tournament and donates proceeds to local charities.” (some content and themes may not be appropriate for children)
